Noiseless and pollution free Diwali - things are not that bad as people see. Changes for the betterment are happening.

Noiseless and pollution free Diwali.

Things are not that bad as people see. Changes for the betterment are happening.

With the good taking over the rest... I did realise the change since last few years: less firecrackers and more realisation.

Though didn't think of mentioning the same across. However dawned upon a realisation that this is what we are... adaptable!

There are several factors and thoughts and experiences which make people say, "this person or this country - iska kuchh nahin ho sakta hai". I totally disagree with these people as it's not necessary that if it didn't happen earlier, it cannot happen now.

So many I know, who are obsessed with firecrackers told me, "Tere akele ke nahin karne se farak kaise padega?". I think even giving an answer to these people is a waste of time which I realised later.

An alone thought from a leader & his team (from so many we had), ever got to the fore, a drive on cleanliness? Someone, did initiate it and not necessarily achieved perfection but at least moved towards betterment...

I am seeing efforts from every nook and corner and every faith trying to imbibe in with the requirement of the hour, rather than what the faith says or what, we have been taught, was the way to celebrate it.

We all, from different walks of life and faiths and beliefs, when we walk towards the betterment of humanity, those faiths will never take a backlash. And a progressive nation can be achieved.

Like advertisement advertise any product as 99.99% safe.

In a similar way, we have moved towards perfection but still have space for betterment and we should try to achieve and continue to strive for it.

For the rest, who want to stay put and not budge, must expect, not getting appreciated!

I am disdaining self from watching the trailer of Dangal so the interest does not grow on me as I was once upon a time a fan of his work.

Also will request everyone not to watch the trailer or the film either if you are truly an Indian.

Hope you haven't forgotten his intolerant speech and him not being apologetic about it either.

Make him realize that we shall not forget his speech until he doesn't apologize. Like Shahrukh did before his movie but still had to face the consequences with Dilwale not grossing that well... It may be that this crass Aamir Khan will try to get into good books by raising some praises but please don't get carried away...

Also be aware that he did NOT comment anything for the Uri attacks but did about intolerance for one person been killed.
If he was so concerned about one person killed, where did his concern go when one poor footpath dweller was killed by his friend - he should have disowed his dear friend or should have taken a jibe at him like he dared, to by calling his dog, Shahrukh. But he didn't!!! Scared to do so I guess?

Also be aware he is the same person who felt SORRY about kids killed in Pakistan attack by terrorists and condemned such acts...

Why not the Uri attacks?

He is one who jumped to an opportunity to criticize several religions / castes through mediums like films and television - criticizing who they worship in the movie, PK
& criticizing castes like Khap Panchayat in Satyameva Jayete.

I am not against what he did BUT HAVE YOU HEARD HIM CRITICIZE ABOUT TRIPLE TALAQ OR ANYTHING ABOUT THE TERRORIST ACTIVITIES?

NEVER!!!! WHY?

For the matter, when PK released, I was flabbergasted with the rebuking approach to the self proclaimed god but it did not end there and it can be seen how low he fell while demeaning the Hindu deities but just one dialogue set against the other castes and communities was surprising.

Even when Satyameva Jayete was a well used medium to make us aware of :-
- female infanticide killing not limited to rural areas
- honor killings still not a passé thingee
- giving rights the the gay gender
and
- child abuse not only targeting girl child
BUT he fractured this show by concentrating wholly on all religions / groups but his...why?

We are seeing atrocities committed by all religions then why not criticize all or simply stay neutral towards all?

I may have my personal views about a specific religion or caste or group but when using a medium to stand against wrong doings, use it to condemn all wrong doings not just leave some aside as you are from that faith, scared of them or of that person? Is that right approach?

My view: Aamir Khan is a coward !!!

DO NOT LET HIM ENJOY THE FRUITS OF HIS UPCOMING FILM DANGAL BY SIMPLY NOT WATCHING IT AND BOYCOTTING IT!
